The songs are in four sections, reflecting the moods of times of the day: Evening, Night, Norning and Day.

They range from unaccompanied songs and rounds to songs with instrumental accompaniment, principally lyre(s). in common with all Colin Tanser’s songs, they are emminently ‘singable’; and where there are accompaniments they are sensitive and effective.

This collection of songs will be of great value in any setting, and particularly so in schools or communities.
