Andrew Dyer (of Upper Esk Music) writes: “It gives me great pleasure to publish this set of pieces, previously available in photocopied manuscript form. Colin Tanser wrote a huge number of compositions for lyres, and it is my plan to publish them all.

“The original set of pieces is augmented in this volume by the inclusion of some of his other compositions - three more Nocturnes to make up a set of four; a Celtic Lullaby; Orly Renee; an arrangement for 3 lyres of Colin’s original ‘Sea Mist’, by Anna Cooper. Most, but not all, of the pieces on the first 24 pages were originally written as solo pieces as indicated, though adaptations can be readily made.”
