This booklet is an attempt to satisfy the need for a short introduction into the twelve-fifths tone scale. It is directed towards all interested people who wish to have their instrument tuned in this tuning, as well as professional tuners who require a handbook. Although this booklet follows the content of, and indeed adds to Maria Renold’s book (“Intervals, Scales, Tones and the Concert Pitch c=128 HZ”),it by no means replaces it.
